READ BEFORE PLAYING

Please read this bit of advice while you are leveling. I watched DattoDoesDestiny's live stream Monday and he noted that engrams decrypted give you gear at the level you are when you encrypt them, not when they were dropped. It's true and I found that out and so very glad that I did! You don't need the greatest gear leveling, you really don't. I did it all myself and left all my engrams in the vault until I hit 20. At that point I had about 20 or more engrams. I got a lot of high level Rare (blue) gear not just greens. When you level a lot of quest items are pretty decent gear and you can buy decent enough gear to push you through the story missions and I did a couple story missions on hard toward the end because I wanted a challenge and ALL without using engrams. foot note, I did use a couple if I was highly lacking in a piece of armor if it was about 7-8 levels behind the others. BUT there is still no need to use all of them as you get them. Save them, and use the vault for what it is for!
