Just to clarify, if I buy the digital edition on PS3 before January 15, 2015, then I will be able to download for free the game on PS4 if I buy one next summer. That is, the limitation applies until when you can buy the digital version on your old gen machine and not until you can download it on your next gen console. Am i correct?

I cancelled my pre-order for the disc through amazon and bought the Digital Guardian Edition just for this reason. Don't know when I will upgrade to a PS4 but I was stoked when I read this.
