I volunteer once a week, 5 hours a week on Thursdays as an EMT with a local volunteer ambulance department. I'm also a Board of Director of the department. And I'm a new Daddy (boy turns 3 months tomorrow).

I work in loss prevention for a shoe retailers distribution center. Just a team member nothing big. We manage trailers and people that come in and out of the compound. Handle emergencies when needed and take care of all safety and fire equipment. I also act like a shipping clerk, as well as a secretary at this job. Also do data entry, background checks, terminations, etc.... This is stuff that the entire team I work with does on a daily bases. My hours at the moment are 1400- 0000 Friday thru Monday but they will be changing to 0700 - 1500 Sunday thru Thursday in the next month hopefully. Just waiting to get another person hired on to the team so that I can make the move.

I work in a pupil refferal unit, it's for kids with emotional and behavioural difficulties. It's tough work but I love it. I'm training to be an education welfare officer which is the side of the job I really like.

Edited by Garrwing: 8/11/2014 3:09:55 PMIn the Air Force. Just past the 10 year mark in Feb. Things are getting crazy with all the cutbacks, funding cuts, and downsizing. Got to make another 10! :) Edit: oh yeah so I rig parachutes for cargo drops. Then when they do get dropped we go out and pick them up and do it all over again. It's pretty much training for the aircrew. Love the rescue squadron!
