I have come up with a few ideas for the raid. Which would you like to be the next raid that comes out?
UPDATE: Thanks guys for the support and all of the votes. This topic has managed to get to the top of the main Destiny list.
UPDATE 2: Thanks for Over 500 Replies!

What about a raid on the tower and in the city? It would make the most sense if it were the Cabal, and probably after a storyline involving them attempting to invade or take the Last City. They've kinda been hinting that they think something bad is there, and are trying to stop it (introduce a neutral Cabal leader who talks to you and the guardians, but also you alone). The raid begins as it is announced that the Emporer has sent his second in command to the Tower to wrest control from the remaining guardians whilst you and your teammates were taking down the Cabal team in the City. You abd your fireteam fight your way through waves of enemies to the front gate, and fight an overpowered collosus that is guarding it. The elevators are broken and you're obviously not taking the stairs, but the Tower has a bottom floor docking bay. After fighting your way there, you and your team fly your way up through crashing debris (from the ongoing fight at the top of the tower) and rocket/minigun fire (from cabal ships) to the top of the tower, but are forced to land one or two floors below the very too, at the secondary docking bay. Your next objective is to stop or slow the assault on the city and the Tower, and you have to get to the rail gun (whatever those giant guns on the tower are called) control room, since they were shut down or destroyed by the Cabal. You fight your way to one, maybe two or three stations and turn each of them on, with each one you turn on strengthening the enemies but also decreasing their spawns until there are no more that can spawn. Your final task is to go to the top of the tower and confront or kill the Emperor's second in command (like a vice president, sort of). You fight your way up there, and that's where you see some of the Towers residents dead, others hiding or running and being hunted by the Cabal. You also see Cayde and the other Vanguard, as well as others you've always seen but never really SEEN, fighting the Cabal. You help those who you normally buy or sell things to for legendary marks fight off the best fighters the Cabal has to offer. When the room is nearly cleared out, the Vanguard thank you, but warn that the Prince has captured the Speaker, and is preparing to leave from the Grand Atrium (the giant room where Saladin (Iron Banner) with him. They stay to tend to the civilians including a very badly injured Tess Everes (because she's annoying and useless), and tell you and your fireteam to go and stop the Prince. You go into the Prince fight and immediately have to take cover, as his ship is firing at you. Quickly and carefully, you make your way across the Atrium and jump into the ship, where he and the Speaker are. Before getting ready to go down, the Prince sets the ship to autopilot to the Emporer's ship, located on X planet. The Prince sends a wave of enemies down to fight you as he makes his way into the room, and you kill them. He arrives, and tries to warn you that things may not be as they appear to be, and that he will let you go. The Vanguard warn you he is -blam!-ing with you, and that you have to get the Speaker back. During the actual fight, your objective is to knock off each of the critical prices of his armor in order to expose his real weak spot (his heart, but the armor is banded together in a way that it falls off from the extremities inward) and destroy it. Additionally, there are several ledges, and a ship blueprint that every player should have scanned before this started. The ledges are for players to grab onto when the Prince tries to spin the ship around (he has grav boots, assumes he can knock the Guardians out and into space since the back of the ship is open). The players can damage the Prince and his armor, but can't destroy it. When he takes enough damage, the Prince will be stunned for as long as he keeps reciving bullets (but will take minimal damage). The final Guardian will elect from the ship, use Ghost to summon their own, and fly their ship into the Prince, causing an explosion and destroying his armor peice. Rinse and repeat until he's dead. Also, since you're flying into Cabal airspace and the back of the ship IS open, the boss fight is on a timer. When the fight is over, you and your team rig the ship with explosives, grab the Speaker, and use your Ghosts to fly out the back. As you get close to the Earth, you hear and see the great Cabal ship explode (Emporer is still alive, you just don't know it yet). You get the final group of raid items from the Speaker after (a skippable) cutscene that kinda hints that all may still not be as it seems.

Edited by SnipaXki11a: 3/20/2016 2:49:23 AMI think we should have a raid where you team with the cabal to fight off the taken which are taking their leaders. Unlike most raids you will be in a 5 man team and allied with cabal. 1 person holds a cabal distress beacon in their super slot so they can call 4 cabal colossus to fight by your side and accompany you until you die, they all die, or your next super. Grenade calls 2 centurions. Melee calls 5 legionaries or phalanx (randomly chosen). 1st Cp will be to recover the distress signal from the taken primus taa'un. Once defeated 1 of you will be a signal carrier for the remainder of the raid (if starting from check point the carrier is randomly chosen). Then you will go through an underground cabal tunnel system on phobos that is abandoned. This is a maze portion. The next boss/cp is a cabal mercenary that is taken. You need to extract a DNA sample. After you defeat him you must extract DNA to make a vaccine against the taken that works on cabal. (3rd cp) This part involves harvesting the essence from 300 taken cabal enemies collectively. (4cp) After that, you face 5 Goliath tanks, surrounded by corrupted blights, similar to oryx in kings fall. (Final cp) Final boss is the cabal betraying you and you face the emperor (if you had the distress signal earlier you will get your normal super back but lose the signal).

Edited by magus_warlock: 3/20/2016 12:43:04 PMImagine enter the cabal imperial base first part should destroying cannons at the gates of the fortress and opening the gates, there could be a huge wall with cannons and soldiers on the top and we have to infiltrate the walls....once u get inside the fort the guardians meet 3 groups of phalanxes in shield formation protecting the emporers entrance.......after taking down the phalanxes u enter a large coliseum with a throne in the middle only to find the emperor waiting patiently..... beside him will be his final champion by his side crowds will be watching. The guardians will show no mercy to the general and his hordes.....

I hope they make the next raid as epic as VoG and Kings Fall. Some of those rooms designs were amazing.
-
I want a fAllen raid where we have to fight Randal the vandal
-
Raid guns that are not lackluster.
-
I dislike the cabal...

Dragons

Boobs

For it to exist.
-
I'm sick of Hive stuff let's go to Cabal for a while
-
As long as the Emperor isn't a giant phalanx.
-
Probably taken vex since they are the strongest.
-
Cabal, but not to kill the emperor just yet. We need some immersion and progression in the Cabal world/lore. Let's start with picking off his/her generals.
-
Only 3% wanted hive, lol we have way to much hive stuff
-
The boss would either be a huge Colossus with flags and banners and robes and shit. Or a ridiculously powerful Psion. Like mental powers capable of altering solar systems.
-
Fallen raids wouldnt work, all the houses were broken apart by skolas. I reckon a guardian raid would be cool, a special guardian who has all the sub class powers but wants more power so we have to stop him from killing the other guardians. That would be more of a strike though so nevermind
-
Strawberries. Much better reward than virtual guns.
-
Nothing we have faced before, an new enemy would be tight.
-
I want lore 7_7
-
No more hive pls bungie
