The Valmredian Offensive

Prologue: Long before mankind inherited the country of Valmredia, there was a darkness in control of the land. Cunning and evil creatures known as Kubura lived in the center of the country by the base of Mount Pinnacle. Pulling the strings of the country from behind closed doors, the Kubura corrupted the government for nearly a whole millenium. However, in 1537 BK (Before the fall of the Kubura), a whistleblower from inside the Kubura Protection Agency code named Aspen revealed the secret plottings of the Kubura to the public, causing an uproar. By 1535 BK, anti-Kuburan riots had destroyed much of the desert province of Karnel. Responding quickly to the attacks, the KPA stopped all supply vehicles from leaving the farming lands of Brenton. In light of the riots and widespread starvation, a group emerged from the ashes of Karnel. Their outfit was dubbed "The Fire Walkers" after their leader, Thatcher Greves, fearlessly fought through the burning Karnel capital, Avigon. The KPA immediately fled the region following the defeat. In the years following, an increased number of humans rose up against the KPA, creating a power struggle throughout Valmredia. By the year 1527 BK, the forests of Gargadon had nearly all been cut to the ground and the waters surrounding Brenton had been polluted by the war. It was in this year that Thatcher initiated a bold maneuver and orchestrated a strike on the Kuburan capital of Cheveron, a city in between the province of Brenton and Gargadon. During this battle many Fire Walkers were killed, and Thatcher went MIA when the building he was clearing collapsed from KPA artillery. It is believed that the building also contained high ranking Kuburan officials. Once word of Thatcher's disappearance spread, the remaining outnumbered Fire Walkers reluctantly retreated, only to be ambushed by more KPA reinforcements. The exact details of the final battle are unknown, but the Fire Walkers sustained high casualties. The surviving members disbanded and went into hiding, waiting for a new resistance movement to begin. It's been almost 2 years since that day. The KPA have retaken Brenton and Gargadon, and are in the process of reclaiming the broken Karnel. This is where you come in. Map info:
The country is divided up into four sections: Gargadon, Karnel, Brenton, and the Kuburan Capitol. The Kuburan Capitol is in the middle/slightly southwest of the map, and has the highest concentration of troops (obviously). To the west of the Capitol is Gargadon, a heavily forested and mountainous area filled with caves that store lost artifacts. It's said the Kubura originated from these mountains. The north east region is Karnel, a sandy province known for its weapons tech. It is also the birthplace of the Resistance and Fire Walkers. Brenton is a farming village in the southeast part of the country. Karnel and Brenton are separated from the Capitol by a large sea, only touching Gargadon by the north and south poles.
