Do you play rugby? If yes, who do you play for? What's the highest level you've played?
What position are you?
Who do you support? How do you think your team will go this season?
I have just started training with Mackay Cities RUFC, and will most likely be their starting tight head come the start of the season. I played a bit of rep football in Townsville and may have a go for the Mackay A grade team if things are a bit quiet at the hospital when they play.
I support the Waratahs in Super 15. I think they'll do OK if their squad doesn't get too many injuries (it will). Signing Israel Folau was a mistake and it will come back to haunt them, I think he should have a go at gridiron next though, he'd be a decent wide receiver.

Edited by Kboyz: 2/1/2013 3:33:31 PMAwh man, 6 nations starting tomorrow with a great clash between Ireland and Wales. Wales on 7 consecutive losses, but they are playing at home to a strong Irish team. France to possibly win the 6 nations this year

Im calling a possible Ulster vs Clermont Heineken Cup Final

I've got purple and lime green Mercurials at the moment, -blam!-ing sick boots. I generally played Outside Centre for the past few years, but since I've started getting faster I've moved out to the wings or fallback more. I really want to play 9 or 10, but I've never had the opportunity. I'm out for a while at the moment with injury, but I really want to get back before the end of the season, because if I can, and pick up my form where I left off, I'll hop into the Uni team, and get a chance with London Welsh, and from there who knows? I'm a proud Welshman, I support the Scarlets, but have a lot of time for the Ospreys. Scarlets have had an unlucky season, considering their awesome backs, they just don't have the forwards or the confidence to succeed. The autumn tests were a travesty due to injury, but we should bounce back for the six nations. Rugby4BestSport #Kalriq

NEATH NEATH NEATH NEATH NEATH Rugby is a quality game, being Welsh and all like - we were naturally bred for the game. I usually play Tight head or I'm in the second row in the Scrum.

I think we can all agree that Brian O Driscoll is the best 13 of all time

Yes, It's my favorite sport.

Yes, and I freaking love it. I play for a local team called the Hooligans (representing lehigh valley) and I ended my season last November, waiting to play spring. When I practiced in November, I played Hooker and I played Scrum-Half, though since I wasn't 18 yet I wasn't able to play in the games. Since I'll be 18 this Friday, I'll be applying for the USA rugby league and competing in the league this season :)

I haven't played rugby in years. Since 8th grade actually. My homeroom teacher was the only one to do it. I was pretty damn good at it but we didn't go anywhere with it since there were no programs set up for it in any of the surrounding cities.

I haven't played Rugby in years! :P I don't watch it very often, but I live in New Zealand! Masters of all things Rugby.

YES I LIKE THIS THREAD But yeah, I do. I've been playing for around 5 years, beginning in middle school, and up into my 2nd year of high school, which is the present. I too am I tight head prop, always have been, always will be. I've been training during the off season a lot more than I was last year, in preparation for this season. I'm going to be 2nd string for my team this year, seeing as there are a lot of seniors who are in my position, and seniors usually get the preference over sophomores. I'm really looking forward to this upcoming season. I tend to pay more attention to international teams, since I don't live in a country where the rugby is particularly good or interesting to watch. I follow the All Blacks. They are such an awesome team, and I've been a fan of them since I started playing. I even have a jersey signed by the 2011 World Cup champions, framed and proudly hung up in my room. This is the sport that I play, and a sport I plan on playing for a long time.

I fecking love rugby! Started out as a flanker when I first started playing when I was 12.. swiftly got moved into the backs later that year, and now I play Wing, or 13. Leinster is the only correct team to answer for who is the best team. O Driscoll, Sexton, Kearney, Nacewa in the backs... O Brien, Heaslip, Healy, Ross in the pack... What more could you want?

I am...let's just say I'm not built for rugby. (Plus, I don't think girls' teams are a thing?) But it's a fun sport to watch, and I appreciate that it's a pretty cerebral game, not just a purely physical one. I'd like to learn more about it; I could see myself enjoying it on almost the same level that I enjoy NFL.

Only played in high school as little. I was pretty fast so I scored tries a lot but I'm kinda light so I had to dodge so many tackles.
-
Chiefs and All Blacks all the way! Played a little in high school. Was just a loose foward because I was bigger than most of the other kids. Couldn't play for shit though, just liked tackling people
-
I play Left Wing for my School House's team. Never really considered playing for a club. I've always supported the Reds, I've got a good feeling about this year.

... <_< >_> ...What's Rugby....
