Can B.net's site be any slower?

I remember when B.net was a pretty efficient and quick site to use, didn't take 15 seconds for the front screen to load up or for you to get to your groups. B.net is a pretty big heap of clunky crap, as it sits. When will this be getting altered, and why couldn't you have just stuck to the formula that [i][b][u]worked[/i][/b][/u] instead of fixing what wasn't broken? Yours truly, a concerned long time member of the community.
