Limited Edition, DLC, and your wallet

[i]TL:DR = bold highlights[/i] so according to [url=http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/07/07/destiny-beta-details-announced-collectors-edition-revealed-and-unboxed-ign-first]this[/url] people that buy the collectors edition for $150 get: -A steelbook disc case and disc copy of the game -A field manual with "handwritten" notes -An "antique" star chart -A Guardian folio -4 postcards from the Golden Age (i.e. Earth before the Darkness decimated it) [b]-The Destiny Expansion Pass ($34.99 value; good for Expansion I and Expansion II)[/b] -Collector's Edition Digital Content (an in-game Ghost skin, player emblem, and ship skin) -And the centerpiece: a life-size replica of the Ghost robot, complete with lights and Peter Dinklage dialogue samples. ...and for $100 the[b] limited edition gets you all of that minus the centerpiece[/b] "replica ghost" ...or for $90 the digitial gets you all the digital stuff and non of the physical stuff. [b]the important thing to note here is that if you plan on getting the upcoming Destiny expansions "The Dark Below" and "House of Wolves" (each of which includes new Story missions, cooperative and competitive multiplayer arenas, and a "wealth" of new weapons, armor, and gear), you should probably just get a limited edition now (while you can).[/b] if you get the expac DLC's separate they'll run you $20 a piece ($40 for both), or if you get the expansion pass separate (which is only good for those 2 dlc) it's $35 for both. soo if you plan on buying the game + both dlc...buying the game for $60-65 and adding another $35-40 for the limited edition gets you the 2 dlc at no cost...or gives you the collectible stuff at no cost-however you wanna look at it.
