Confident in what seemed to be an effective mobilization to the center of the sand swept ruin, absolutely no resistance was encountered, that is until the Guardians were so deep behind enemy lines that an ambush nearly devoured them. In a wild escape on the run, Petros recovered the Guardians. All but one. In a sorrowful scene, they were forced to watch a dear friend's final stand against truly impossible odds.
