The Greatest Item Troll of All Time
1) Farm a specific type of enemy for untold hours to have a chance to drop a heaping pile of dung known as the Husk of the Pit.
2) The user has to kill 500 hive with said POS weapon (wut?!)
3) The gun requires a specific item to upgrade it. Only obtainable via grinding bounties for Eris everyday for 2 weeks.
4) Once this item is obtained and used, the user must level the now fragrant pile of dung.
5) In order to obtain the final form of the dungasaurusrex, the user must kill Crota on Hard over and over again, typically consuming large portions of one's free time so that they may have a chance at getting the necessary item to make the fragrant dung "effervescent".
6) Item is finally obtained and used. The user makes his way to the nearest enemy to see what power he has wrought, only to find it shooting mushy peas.

Tell me about it... They need to patch this and go either higher base DMG, but slower rate of fire OR increase mag size. As is, it is a hybrid bastard that has neither the benefit of huge magazine nor the higher impact with smaller mag size. I'm not saying they should give it base impact on par with Vanq/Shadow P/Suros, but this really needs to be at least acknowledged by Bungie. Perhaps a new weapon class similar to the Vex with a different ROF/impact rating than current autos.

Trying to have a tank battle with heavily shielded enemies with 6 trillion hit points & beyond Necrochasms effective range of "19" is exactly how not to use this gun. It's neither broken nor weak. Up your game Guardians! smh

Lmao and it's only going to get worse lmfao with the Nerf that's coming. Now not only will you minimal damage, but also you will now start missing more shots from any distance considered remotely safe. Now you will have to be literally face to face with that knight to land shots and even then as the glitch says "precision shot have a chance to regenerate your enemies health" because really with that gun who doesn't enjoy killing the same enemy twice lol.

4 RepliesThis is so damn true. Truly don't understand. The hardest weapon to get in the game is so crappy. Was just about as disappointed with the strangers rifle. Vault weapons are awesome though. Also, the weapons that supposedly do more damage to majors. umm, when does that patch drop?
