Hi everyone,
It's been over 6 weeks since the last update to Destiny Stats. I've also been taking longer to respond to feedback and crash reports. For that, I apologise. I just wanted to let you all know that I am still working on the app, and I haven't dropped support for it. My time to work on the app has been limited and I've been struck my numerous internet connection issues in the past few weeks.
I also want to give you a quick update on the development status of the app.
The next update to Destiny Stats will be version 1.0.5.0. This is a feature update and actually incorporates a bunch of new features as well as numerous enhancements to existing UI. I'm going to keep many of new features a surprise but I'm willing to give you a little sneak peek into what's next. The next update will feature:
- The ability to view your Glimmer, Vanguard Marks and Crucible Marks
- The ability to view your Vanguard, Crucible, Cryptarch and Faction reputations
- More detailed activity stats
- A redesigned account management flow
- Some under-the-hood changes that increase the speed and reliability of syncs
- And some other cool things too :)
The update is almost feature-complete and I'm now working on squashing numerous UI bugs and fixing the crashes from v1.0.4.0. My plan is to have this update ready sometime in February.
I also wanted to let you all know that work is underway to get the 3D Guardian models integrated into the app. This is, by far and away, the most requested feature for the app and I'm working hard to get it ready ASAP. The current progress of this is that I have both helmets and weapons rendering, albeit without textures. This feature will debut in the first major update to Destiny Stats (v1.1.0.0).
Again, I apologise for the slow update pace in the last few months and I'm working as fast as possible to make this app the best it can be :)
Thanks,
Vivek

I'm still amazed that you have gone to these lengths to support the windows phone for the destiny community, I'm sure everyone is grateful of your work and I for one appreciate all of the new features here! The app looks pretty excellent.
