Back off with all the nerfing!!!
I spent the last couple days trying to avoid reading the most recent message on weapons. I brought myself to open it and I exploded in rage for about 15 minutes! These forums are fine for talking about weapons, but posting that this and that weapon need to be nerfed really aggravates me. STOP TAKING STUPID COMMENTS FROM YOUR COMMUNITY AND MAKING THEM HAPPEN, BUNGIE! I'm an auto rifle fanatic at heart, but don't disregard this for that matter. I love the same weapons everyone else does: Fatebringer, Vex, Black Hammer, and every other exotic I can dominate enemies with. Stop complaining when you die by a weapon in crucible because its gonna happen whether you are good, bad, or elite. Have you ever considered the way that all this nerfing affects PvE. I don't need to suffer while killing Crota because you don't like my suros and vex blasting you in crucible! As of right now I don't mind how powerful certain weapons are and in my opinion if you worked to attain and level them you deserve to dominate. I've done my share of complaining like everybody else about weapons and abilities, but I haven't demanded it to be changed through the forums. Lastly for all the Christmas noobs who are just now complaining about the same stuff that Bungie and the rest of the community has heard for the past 4 months, don't even start now! Please!

13 RepliesThe nerfs are just so the weapons are all competitive. I love my AR's too, but their has to be some point where you say, this is just too easy to use. Same with all the exotic hand cannons, two shots from the thorn, sniper range from hawkmoon, and the highest TTK of any gun in the game from the last word. Suros is still going to be competitive and a top tier exotic weapon for crucible. Just because there is a 2.5% damage decrease is coming to auto rifles, doesn't mean that they will be unusable. The nerfs are just so you can change up your play style and use something other than these godly weapons. I can't wait to see how the red death turns out, I'm excited to see pulse rifles become competitive, I'm happy to see these crap high ROF pulse rifles get more damage. It was needed for more variation in gameplay. It was made so not everyone uses the best weapons in the game just to be competitive. I am glad about this new patch. Don't complain until you see how the patch turns out.
