Ganymede the largest of the Jovian moon but it only had the second largest of the Human colonies during the Golden age because of its lack of resources and the fact it was far from the planet. That's why Europa was chosen instead because it has its own resources and it was close enough to build hydrogen gas mines to mine out the h2 out of Jupiters atmosphere. Io was also established as a human colony but being that its in the Io-Jovian flux tube, made communications fuzzy, distorted or sometimes near impossible to understand so there would be a satellite in orbit and one further past that if need be it would send physical data (hard drive or a drone with the drive protected and sealed) so the interference wouldn't get in the way, but one day on Europa they were eating lunch communicating with Saturn, the Cassini ships, and Titan its moon, and also trying to ,make communication with a very small research bubble base on one of Uranus' moons {pronounced yuh-ruh-nus you juveniles} (the scientists found its axial tilt to be extraordinary and needed more research) But during lunch the got the usual lunch time signal from the Selma-Ishtar research collective (SIRC) but then a few minutes after that we her some incoherent words then static then nothing. They lost the Sirc base on Io and nobody knows why, we weren't really outfitted for war just some guns and advanced Jumpship (+20) and advanced Warships (+20) thanks to the Awoken and their technology they shared with us and the Traveler as well, but we needed to investigate. We went to the furthest satellite and it was the same thing, we went to the next satellite and saw a drone delivered some encrypted data right after we got our transmission. We popped it out of its case, it was eery, it was the black box... But with the Hive Interstellar logo scratched into it and it was oozing and the ooz was melting it slowly. Go! Get the data off the box!we plugged it in and downloaded all but the last 2%, but what we found was that the hive was there first. We had stumbled onto just one of their tunnels and sent a ghost drone to map it, it went on for miles til something destroyed it. Then they came to the surface, and well, you see the cameras, you see what they did. I've never seen the Hive use this sort of weaponry, nor be in military ranked formation like that, they're usually all over the place. What is going on... What is happening on Io....
