If you plan on just floating in midair a titan would be just as much a target just rember to cancel your glide when your over a load of mobs . Good post by the way (on your point about warlocks using self Rez not song of flame you don't realise how many times I've used song of flame gathered round my teammates and not seen a single grenade thrown
