Had the atari type console not sure what they were called the ones where you play tennis with two straight white lines and a square ball! then zx spectrum lots of games on that horace goes skiing, grid run and the dizzy games to name but a few.

I think it was called the Odyssey. I played on it too according to my dad, but I don't remember it. Atari 800 was the first system I have fond memories of.
