So in the grimore, gjallarhorn is built and forged from the armor of those who have fallen in the battle of twilight gap.
In the the battle of twilight gap, hunters refuse to go into battle. It was only warlocks and Titans...
And gjallarhorn is a weapon that is meant to be gifted to the survivors of the battle of twilight gap...
So why do hunters have the reward if they didn't contribute?
The hunter's leader gave order to retreat early in the battle. Some hunters still fought though.
EDIT: no hate against hunters.. But I just found this a bit interesting
EDIT: I have read this somewhere in the grimore. If I find it again I will tell you
EDIT: Ana was the only Hunter who agreed to go into war
EDIT: this is just a fun small little post about a little topic I found a bit interesting. Nothing serious guys.
EDIT: can some people not read that I have a hunter and I have a gjallarhorn?
EDIT: did a bit more research. MOST hunters refused to. Not all

I just crouched down, went invisible and swiped it from a warlock.

Edited by N_3_0_9_6: 2/27/2015 2:36:57 AMI thought it was forged from the chest pieces from titans and hunters (the chest of alpha lupi) after the great battle and that warlocks were scalers so they didn't go into battle. Sorry for the spelling lol :) Well thats what I heared in the lore video.
-
Omg this cant be happening again lol btw i have ghorn and im a hunter
-
I was busy at the Alamo.
-
The hunters seen something they wanted and crucibled those damn dirty titans and warlocks for them.
-
The grimoire also said Kabr's armor he forged from vex body parts turned him insane slowly. My titan seems pretty same after having worn it for a couple months lol
-
Lol if that's the case then why are titans using the last word? Why are warlocks using thorn? Those are hunter weapons.
-
Because we're rebels Bitch.
-
Because I bribed xur with 17 strange coins to let me get it
-
Ohh the Hunter Mentor was at the battle of twilight gap...but in secret we do not need the recognition
-
okay... I have 3 Ghorns. I am one of those who want Xur to sell Ghorn one more time for two reasons... 1. It helps me know the guardian to my right has one during a raid. 2. Trolls can stop with the Ghorn whining in the forums.
-
SHOW ME the grimoire that says hunters refused to fight at the Gap.
-
Hunters steal it from warlocks and titans. #huntermasterrace
-
verrry interesting. i wonder what the ratio of gjallahorns that hunters have to other guardians (aka Titan/warlock).
-
Hunters are the most fearsome (in lore)
-
They bought it from xur duh

Edited by OtlwJoseyWales: 2/27/2015 1:40:27 AMHmm... The only people in my group to not yet have received the gjallarhorn, had in fact created hunters as their first toons. Coincidence? Edit: theory proven false by many a hunter. ;)
-
Doesn't say it was gifted to the survivors -.-
-
I think it's funny how people complain about the game not having a story, yet when this guy finds something interesting in the lore, everyone bashes him and says "it's just a game, bro". Good find, I like the grimoire cards side stories too. All these kids here are never satisfied.
-
Cause hunters take whatever the -blam!- we want and make it ours.
-
I'll say it again. None of our Guardians were at Twilight Gap. So it doesn't matter.
-
I may have said this before. I'll say it again though; Couldn't a Hunter just have taken it off of a kill?
-
Because: blade dancer - invisibility - stole it - hunters are awesome.
-
Because we killed the lesser classes that do not deserve such a pristine weapon and looted it from their corpses.
-
Ana Bray wasn't the only one and her armor is the MAIN component of Ghorn.
-
Worlocks were not there only titans idiot
