why do hunters have gjallarhorns...
So in the grimore, gjallarhorn is built and forged from the armor of those who have fallen in the battle of twilight gap.
In the the battle of twilight gap, hunters refuse to go into battle. It was only warlocks and Titans...
And gjallarhorn is a weapon that is meant to be gifted to the survivors of the battle of twilight gap...
So why do hunters have the reward if they didn't contribute?
The hunter's leader gave order to retreat early in the battle. Some hunters still fought though.
EDIT: no hate against hunters.. But I just found this a bit interesting

EDIT: Ana was the only Hunter who agreed to go into war
EDIT: this is just a fun small little post about a little topic I found a bit interesting. Nothing serious guys.

9 RepliesWhere does this say that hunters refused? From my understanding, hunters did go. There is a speaker cloak for hunters, cant quite remember the name, but its all gold and white. The description says it was worn by Anna Bray in the Battle of Twilight Gap.

None of our guardians are survivors of the twilight gap we where dead prior to it. None of us should have it if you want to get technical.

Just cause the lore mentioned [i]one[/i] notable hunter, doesn't mean only [i]one[/i] hunter participated. Thousands of guardians died that day and I'm sure hundreds if not thousands of hunters perished that day as well. If you guys want to cut us out of Grimoire so badly, you won't succeed. Cayde-6, the hunter vanguard, has the best fkn Grimoire card. I don't see any of the other vanguard owning a fallen shock pistol
