So in the grimore, gjallarhorn is built and forged from the armor of those who have fallen in the battle of twilight gap.
In the the battle of twilight gap, hunters refuse to go into battle. It was only warlocks and Titans...
And gjallarhorn is a weapon that is meant to be gifted to the survivors of the battle of twilight gap...
So why do hunters have the reward if they didn't contribute?
The hunter's leader gave order to retreat early in the battle. Some hunters still fought though.
EDIT: no hate against hunters.. But I just found this a bit interesting
EDIT: I have read this somewhere in the grimore. If I find it again I will tell you
EDIT: Ana was the only Hunter who agreed to go into war
EDIT: this is just a fun small little post about a little topic I found a bit interesting. Nothing serious guys.
EDIT: can some people not read that I have a hunter and I have a gjallarhorn?
EDIT: did a bit more research. MOST hunters refused to. Not all

Idk just found it in a box in some cave after killin a bunch of robits served me very well ever since
-
Dude, my hunter would have gone. I would've kicked some major ass, too.
-
I don't understand why anyone would care about this or put as much effort as you into looking up that information.
-
Ignore the hate OP, My main is a Hunter and I honestly think you was just asking a honest question. Grimore (think that's how it's spelled) can be confusing for some, your entitled to ask questions in a polite way without being hated on :)
-
Yeah, not all hunters didnt. The Speaker cloak called "Strength of the Pack" states that Ana Bray wore that cloak at Twilight Gap.
-
Hey genius, none of us were at the battle of the gap. We were all revived way after
-
My hunter got mine in week 2 from tiger strike :P
-
My Titan got the gjallarhorn from nightfall and gave it to my hunter
-
As a hunter, this post offends me like no other. WHERE IS THE PROOF?
-
I like to think my hunter was gifted it by my friend who plays titan for acts of courage. Anyone else make little stories for their characters?
-
I picked it up off of all the corpses of titans and warlocks ive slain in the crucible.
-
The Cloak sold by the speaker talks about a squad of hunters that explored the outskirts of the last city or something rather. Maybe they created all the pathways around to old russia or something, and picked up the credibility that way. I think it's the Legend of the Six Coyotes.
-
I would've gladly helped... If I was invited!!!
-
Well warlock mcdickface please enlighten me on your experiences at twilight gap
-
I pointed this out a couple months ago. Nice to see hunters are still getting butthurt about it.
-
I blame it on the vault
-
because hunters were still being taught by the warlocks
-
Hunters didn't help so that there would be more dead Titans and Warlocks, and thus more materials to produce a larger quantity of GHorns. You're welcome. It was worth it.
-
It was gifted as you say. Hunters looted them from engrams and corpses of ultras.
-
Probably because during those times Hunters were the first ones to go exploring outside of the city. Chances are they simply weren't around at the time.
-
Which grimoire card says that?
-
George Washington was important to winning the war. But so were all the militia and soldiers who didn't get their faces carved into stone.
-
Hey if I had a choice I would've joined in but I got into destiny AFTER the battle
-
Because the hunters wanted to go out BEYOND the walls to fight more enemies and fend off the darkness
-
Because Warlocks are to busy having to res, and Titians are busy doing "things" in their bubble. ;) Someone needs to fire the damn thing.
-
Where does this say that hunters refused? From my understanding, hunters did go. There is a speaker cloak for hunters, cant quite remember the name, but its all gold and white. The description says it was worn by Anna Bray in the Battle of Twilight Gap.
