So in the grimore, gjallarhorn is built and forged from the armor of those who have fallen in the battle of twilight gap.
In the the battle of twilight gap, hunters refuse to go into battle. It was only warlocks and Titans...
And gjallarhorn is a weapon that is meant to be gifted to the survivors of the battle of twilight gap...
So why do hunters have the reward if they didn't contribute?
The hunter's leader gave order to retreat early in the battle. Some hunters still fought though.
EDIT: no hate against hunters.. But I just found this a bit interesting
EDIT: I have read this somewhere in the grimore. If I find it again I will tell you
EDIT: Ana was the only Hunter who agreed to go into war
EDIT: this is just a fun small little post about a little topic I found a bit interesting. Nothing serious guys.
EDIT: can some people not read that I have a hunter and I have a gjallarhorn?
EDIT: did a bit more research. MOST hunters refused to. Not all

time to make a new hashtag for all of the forms to see.... #Itsjustagame
-
We stole them.... *YOINK*
-
Good observation
-
I have one of each class but I've received both my gjallarhorns on my hunter.
illuminati confirmed
-
No one's guardian deserves the Gjallarhorn because none of us tool part in the Twilight gap, now what?
-
Why don't you have a 32? Or more raid completions? :)
-
Cuz we r boss
-
Yea that's messed up
-
Because they found it! When you get any reward in Destiny it says that you found it.
-
Cause -blam!- warlocks, titans are cool
-
Because Titans and warlocks share?
-
Well we all know even if they went into battle they would just go invisible until everything is over
-
Me hunter, no ghorn.
-
Obviously the hunters survived since they weren't there, so they get gifts too
-
Lol mate?
-
Because it's a very averagely thought out video game, even so I wouldn't put it past hunters to take it off of fallen guardians

Edited by nomex.sniper: 2/27/2015 1:50:50 PMOk I clearly need to read the Grimoire cards I had no idea this much iformatiom was in there

I don't even have gjallahorn, so this doesn't include me, I guess. I know that many of the forces were made out of mostly Titans, but the other classes were there. Ana Bray is one of the key heroes of this battle, and if her hunter cloak is named strength of the pack after this battle, she very likely had other hunters with her; Or else what "pack" are they reffering to? Seeing as hunters are known to be the scouts and adventurers who journey beyond the city walls, they probably were the ones who first learned about the siege that the fallen were planning and warned the Tower. The battle was mainly Titans and warlocks, but that may not be fair to completely ignore the Hunters who also contributed, especially heroes like Ana Bray. Apparently they still played a huge role even if it was one or a thousand hunters. I honestly would think that is more impressive if hunters were just as effective even if they had smaller numbers. Along with this, I don't understand why the gun would be class specific. If it is believed that only Titans should have gjallahorn, then wouldn't hunters be the only ones to have the hand cannons like Last Word and Thorn, since the original owners were hunters? That might be an interesting idea if weapons were class specific, though.

Neat bit of lore. :)
-
No one gives a shit
-
You're getting hate because it's grimore lore and is such a pain in the ass to go read. Not everyone knows about the battle of whatever you said, myself included
-
On this theory only Hunters should TLW. But in the end it's sharing is caring
-
Hunters don't prosper in war zones. We don't get special little shields for breathing, so we avoid going in to a battle where we're destined to get shot dead, even if we are invisible. Titans and Warlocks are the Captain America, fighting gritty violent campaigns against the Not Seas Hunters are the James Buchanan Barnes. Going in quietly and slitting Hitler's throat.
-
Hunters are scavengers, their armour is made to look like bits or other armours all put together. They take things and make it their own aka Blink. A hunter wielding a weapon not designed to be gifted to them is understandable.

Now it has been said multiple times that the grimoire states Hunters refused to participate in the twilight gap. But i have a 2745 grimoire score and i cant find the damn card. So someone tell me what card and where to find it. Because for RNGesus sake i just can not find it.
