So in the grimore, gjallarhorn is built and forged from the armor of those who have fallen in the battle of twilight gap.
In the the battle of twilight gap, hunters refuse to go into battle. It was only warlocks and Titans...
And gjallarhorn is a weapon that is meant to be gifted to the survivors of the battle of twilight gap...
So why do hunters have the reward if they didn't contribute?
The hunter's leader gave order to retreat early in the battle. Some hunters still fought though.
EDIT: no hate against hunters.. But I just found this a bit interesting
EDIT: I have read this somewhere in the grimore. If I find it again I will tell you
EDIT: Ana was the only Hunter who agreed to go into war
EDIT: this is just a fun small little post about a little topic I found a bit interesting. Nothing serious guys.
EDIT: can some people not read that I have a hunter and I have a gjallarhorn?
EDIT: did a bit more research. MOST hunters refused to. Not all

There was a really old thread of this same topic. You're slightly late.
-
Because.... Reasons.
-
It's a -blam!-ing game! Holy shit Nerd!
-
Hunters were there. They were just cloaked and hiding but got killed by AOE.
-
Hunters bought the gun from others. Derp
-
because gjalla
-
It's because hunters owned the Titans and Warlocks in Crucible and they rightfully claimed them as trophies, claiming them from the corpses of their fallen opponents.
Duh
-
Why my Friendly Fire isn't on when I am using Red Death?
-
The only thing that comes to mind is that the hunters are also scavengers, so it may have been looted off the corpse of a survivor if it needs backing through lore.

Edited by ShadowWolffe: 2/8/2015 7:15:48 AMDidn't contribute?! WHO THE HELL ACTUALLY TOLD TITANS ABOUT THE INCOMING FALLEN REINFORCEMENTS?! HUNTERS! Ana Bray, the owner of the strength of the pack cloak, fought at the battle of the Twilight Gap! If hunters did not fight, why would Shaxx even respect us? Get your facts straight! Edit: all titans did was build the wall and defend it. Hunters roamed the wilderness and were the first to venture beyond the wall. Warlocks at least did one decent thing and that was track down Crota.

Nobody better be butthurt about this. He's just stating what he read. Calm the -blam!- down before you write something hateful
-
Lol you read the grimore? AND expect some feasible lore? Dude.
-
Well see we were there we just fed off all your orbs and went invis with our super I mean we contributed by cleaning up bodies?
-
Why do Hunters have Gjallarhorns? Because they either bought them from Xur wayyyy back in week 2, or they got lucky and found one. Same as how the rest of us got the horn. NEXT!
-
We were there...you just couldn't see us ;)
-
Cause explosions
-
I... Found it...
-
I got my G-Horn through my Hunter. Lol
-
I main character hunter and I gotta admit, it feels weird to use the Gally. Just doesn't look right in my rebellious paws.
-
Edited by Alexandra The Amateur: 2/8/2015 8:00:07 AMWhy do hunters have thorn?
-
I got my first ghorn today.... I was on my hunter I have all 3 guys
-
Better to be a hunter, rather than the hunted. Do you understand? Pirates have nice things, though the don't necessarily have them..'gifted'.
-
ana bray, a HUNTER fought at the battle of twilight gap. if you don't believe it then go to the speaker to see if he is selling "strength of the pack" then look at it's description
-
Because all classes can use all weapons, pretty simple.
-
Edited by Seth, Knower of Things: 2/8/2015 9:20:54 PMI made this same post a few weeks back. I think it's funny hunters say "oh well Ana bray was there" but seriously 1 hunter and they all deserve Gjallarhorns? I think not.

Ana bray fought in twilight gap and her cloak has a wolf on it
