Shotguns wreck Minotaurs at the confluxes on hard VoG. Same with the Praetorians while guarding the synch plates.

I've never been good in close quarter situations (with the exception of GoW), so I prefer to keep my distance from the enemy. I still have my void light/beware on my alt, it has good range and in most cases 2 - 3 shots praetorians without getting too close.
