Why aren't YOU using Shotguns in PVE?
Do share, why don't you use them? And I'd rather have more specific reason than "I don't like them" (which is a valid reason ofcourse), because I'm curious why don't you like them.

6 RepliesMarksmanship. I always run with a Scout Rifle in my Primary loadout. I'll switch between a Sniper and a Fusion Rifle in the Special slot depending on the mission requirements. I only really started using the Fusion Rifle when the Murmer came out, but it's got much better range than the shotgun and has allowed me to change up my play style in a way that I never could have with a shotgun. It's all about maintaining separation from the bad guys. If they get within shotgun range, I'm not doing my job and if I really need to lay some spank on the darkness...Hand Cannon (The Last Word.) Now, if Bungie only allowed us to use a Hand Cannon in the secondary slot instead of a Sniper, Fusion, or Shotty, I'd be a happy camper. Just like the Halo days. DMR and alien energy pistol.
