Because of low range
Beacause snipers do more damage
I like shooting criticals with snipers
I feel like an LMG pro when I land criticals with sniper
Note: I don't use Fusion Rifles either and I got Plan C with Pocket Infinity.

You know, that's why shotgun should do more damage than sniper headshot. Because you are going in balls deep and you want to be rewarded for it. Range itself in this game is a shield. You can quite easily keep the range and stay alive while doing massive damage with sniper. Shotgun has it harder. So I think it should be rewarded a bit better.
