Shotguns are fun and hard to use in pve... I wouldn't use them in a weekly/nightfall/raid... but in roc strikes it's fun to take the boss out with a shotgun...

They are indeed fun, because they require you to do something else than sit in corner and snipe. :)

I use a shotgun in raids. I can easily take a swordbarrer or praetorian/minotar out solo

Then you will be lucky once the patch goes live with an 100% increase of shitgun damage in pve ;)
