Why aren't YOU using Shotguns in PVE?
Do share, why don't you use them? And I'd rather have more specific reason than "I don't like them" (which is a valid reason ofcourse), because I'm curious why don't you like them.

Melee on high level Destiny enemies is far too strong and exposing yourself to that danger by using a shotgun is generally not worth it as shotguns don't deal enough damage to warrant the risk.
