Because in endgame content for yellow bars they blow. Yellow bar can kill me in 1 or 2 melee hits compared to what 3,4,5 shotgun hits. Or I could sit back with icebreaker and not worry. For anything besides raids or nightfalls then ok. But no need to put yourself closer to danger in endgame content if u don't need to.
