Let me preface my comments with the following: I love Destiny, and play it all the time. And while I hesitate to add to the all the “complaining” threads that already exist on this forum; please receive this in the spirit in which this was made. Which is to hopefully improve something that I’m passionate about and that I care about (and I assume you care about as well). Destiny has the potential to be a truly great game, but I am amazed at the some of the decisions made by Bungie. Hence my thread title: Bungie=Sadists. (Let the rant begin now). It very difficult for me to come to any other conclusion. Bungie gets an erection the size of Crota’s sword when they inflict it’s punishing, crushing disappointments on its player-base again, and again and again. (Bull-shit drop rates, RNG, glitch after glitch after annoying glitch in the raids, the constant fruit salad zoo of error messages, same old crap in Zur’s inventory week after week, etc. etc.) I can imagine it now, if they (Bungie) were to read this post (or the 100’s of ones just like it) – the large devilish grin growing across their faces as they get drunk off our tears. But today I shall discuss the heavy ammo problem. Bungie has acknowledged the heavy ammo glitch, and have gone to great lengths to explain what a difficult bug it has been to fix. And that’s all well and good, but there are NUMEROUS things Bungie could do in the short term to mitigate this known problem until the patch is released. 1. Reduce the cost of heavy ammo synthesis at the gunsmith. 2. Increase the overall drop rate of heavy ammo. Or #3…….wait for it. JUST HAVE Zur SELL IT!!!! Number 1 or 2 aren’t even needed if you would just have Zur sell it!! I cannot be the only Guardian that has been totally out of glimmer for like a month or more. Every penny of glimmer immediately getting consumed with the constant upgrading and RE-UPGRADING (Oh and thank you again for that one too Bungie – ‘sarcasm’) of all my gear. Nor can I be the only Guardian that considers having 15-20 heavy ammo synth for a Hard Crota Raid a fundamental necessity. So I’m left with a sorry excuse of an activity every time I play Destiny – “Great I get to glimmer farm, this is so much fun. Yeah for glimmer farming (again sarcasm)”. The time I get to spend video gaming is limited and precious. I want to raid, strike and level my gear – not spend every waking moment glimmer farming because of Bungie’s sadism. There, I’ve said my peace – Now bring it on forums, defend this atrocious behavior/policy on the part of Bungie. I can’t wait to read all the tried excuses all you fan-boys will come up with.
