Solid post. People - possibly including Bungie - are generally clueless about how weapons work in real life. I grew up in rural southern Minnesota. Rifles weren't allowed for deer hunting in the area. We had to use shotguns with slugs. I used (and still have) a 12 gauge Ithaca Featherlight. I certainly didn't get within lunging distance of the deer we were hunting.
