I'm gunna start doing that just to shake things up a bit. But it is really sad when the bosses have weapons a ton more powerful than ours and they outnumber us sometimes 30 or more to 1. Take the 3 Eris missions, they're seriously insane and I doubt I could beat them by just using a shotgun. Hell, its even tough beating them with the weapons I have now!!!! But if they do make the shotguns 100 percent more powerful I'll give them a try.

Yeah I'd wouldn't use the shotgun on the ogre. But I'd use it on most enemies there. Bosses it's just something you can't do, except on Psion Flayers. :)
