DEAD ORBIT RANK 40! DEAD ORBIT SHIP, SHADERS & MORE!
Where all my Dead Orbit's at?
Just hit rank 40 with DO yesterday and they finally gave me The Fermi Solution, the Legendary Dead Orbit Ship yesterday in a level-up package. It's weird, I only get the sweet drops on benchmark packages. It seems like I have gotten a shader at rank 10, 20, 30 and the ship at 40. That just my experience with my Warlock, my Hunter has had different drops. Check out the video for what I have on my Warlock.
Let's discuss everything and anything DEAD ORBIT! Anyone else have the Ship? I am under the impression, that like Faction Shaders, they are probably the most rare items in the game. I am gonna say that the Faction Shaders and Ships are the rarest items in the game, maybe not the most valuable to some (to me, yes), but most definitely the rarest items (YES, rare than the Crux). I am also kinda obsessed with collecting the very best possible iteration of every DO weapon. I've been rollin with my Deviant Gravity-A since like week one, has Rodeo, Grendier, and Field Scout, and according to destinytracker it is the gun I have the most kills with in Crucible. I also have a very OP Final Rest II that has Accelerated Coils, its literally a Legendary Plan C, I dare say maybe better.
Dead Orbit is the best faction, the only faction, the superior faction. All other factions bow before DO.

I got Revenant at Rank 17 and Bittersteel at Rank 28. Completely random from what I've seen. Congrats on the ship. Hoping to see it soon for my warlock, a dedicated Dead Orbit player from Day 1.

lvl 25 got 3/4 shaders. no ship

My DO drops were always horrible. Rank 21 with absolutely nothing but materials, emblems (which I already had), and a single helmet. No shaders. All my friends got shaders around level 9-11. But when I hit level 22, Fermi dropped for me. Still want the shaders but I'm really happy I got the ship.

Dead Orbit Ranks: Warlock - 24 Hunter - 22 Titan - 9 The only shader I've received is bittersteel at rank 16 with my hunter. I had crypt dweller with firefly and outlaw but ended it up dismantling it, too many elemental primary weapons to use a kinetic one. Still don't have a ship or the shader I really want: revenant.

I'm also collecting non-purchasable faction weapons. I almost have all of NM with DO weapons slowly coming along. Only have Bittersteel shader twice though. Congrats on the ship, bro!

I haven't gotten anything special at 10 or 20, I'll hit 30 this week. So far I've gotten a lot of gear and weapons with terrible perks. No shaders yet, I've got my alts leveling DO as well, nothing good there either. I did however [i]finally[/i] get a 331 DG-A with field scout. Which is probably my favorite machine gun. I got a 300 atk version in about week two and used it until I got a Song of Ir Yut a week into TDB. I'm looking forward to [b][i]any[/i][/b] DO shader at this point, I don't even care which one anymore. The ship would be a fine cherry on top though.

Got me a nice Venation III with Outlaw, insane stability with Perfect Balance (almost max) and Mulligan :/. Also one with Explosive Rounds and Luck in the Chamber. No ships or shaders yet

I get fwc guns even though I rank up dead orbit.I mean I get fwc from nightfall etc.The only good thing I got was a scout rifle with explosive rounds.

1 ReplyDead orbit is the best faction. Only good thing about any other faction is the vanquisher from new monarchy especially now since all the auto rifles after the dlc suck. I never leveled anything but dead orbit and vanguard till the dlc dropped.

Got The Nowhere shader three times at lvls 22, 27 & 31, so I wear 'em on all my chars. I just want at least one of the other three shaders to drop already lol. DO ship would be a bonus
