You know there's a heavy ammo glitch. Bungie knows there's a heavy ammo glitch. Bungie is fixing the heavy ammo glitch. Until they fix the heavy ammo glitch, why would you want to spend your strange coins on heavy ammo which can disappear into a glitch? So even though Xur is random (*prepares for crapstorm of angry denials*), clearly he also has an override algorithm which allows Bungie to delete the heavy ammo from his inventory until the heavy ammo bug is fixed. This makes sense to me. It seems like they may actually be looking out for the community and trying to cut down on the number of problems created by a known bug, which is currently being fixed! Just speculating here, you understand... but MAYBE you could give them the benefit of the doubt, instead of assuming that they are actively TRYING to drive gamers away from the game? Because that would just make them morons. And I don't think they are morons.
