It can vary, but pretty basic stuff generally. This was done using a graphite pencil on a sketch pad.

What grade of graphite pencil? 2B, HB, 2H, 9B, etc?

I use varying grades. I forget which I used for this picture. I think I used a 3B for this one. I know I used a 2B for the praetorian. And a 4B for the thrall.
