Lol...you have no clue....if you consider that a meaningful nerf....
It will have minimal impact on their abuse in PvP....

How about reduced ammo? That nerf enough for ya?

Edited by swirve: 2/6/2015 2:28:11 PMNope as special ammo is more than enough on the map and reduced still means rocking from start.... The only people who think this is a meaningful nerf are those who heavily use special weapons (FR's and shotties).....worried Bungie will realise how bad the special weapon abuse is in the PvP.... Special ammo should start at zero and maybe spawn twice as often as heavy at best....

I agree that the spawn should be less! I've been saying that for awhile now. (I also said, 2 weeks ago, that Shotties would get a range nerf, lol my secret handshake has been ridiculous!) But it's a start. They see the problem and want to correct it without totally ruining the experience for some players. It's a fact, a portion of pvp players main their special, and Bungie doesn't want to lose players, just make things more fair.

Edited by swirve: 2/6/2015 2:51:37 PMUnfortunately it is a little too late I've come from an FPS background with a lot of other players I know and we have all but moved on due to how bad the PvP is, this is one of the principal factors....that and its scrubby and you cannot chose to play decent opposition (you have to play against rndms...who get -blam!- on by supers, heavies, specials, chaining, no team chat actively used...etc...) I'm amazed casual people even play the PvP as you are likely to get beaten on by squads of scrub pubstars....whenever I've played in squads its been embarrassing as to how bad the matchmaking is and vice versa (I most solo when I've played in recent times, due to the huge imbalance) Bungie are worried about the PvP, hence most attention is on that, as they know they've hooked the PvE crowd....to a greater extent

I agree that the pvp could be much better. But, unlike most, I didn't get destiny stoked about pvp. I'm definitely a hooked pve player that's true. But, stepping into the crucible, I have no problem with scrub tactics. I have to really be caught with my guard down to get killed by a FR or playing poorly to enter shotgun range without my own out. As for supers, I think all is fair. Hell, I play a Defender titan and if I die to super, so be it. Also, my friend your control K/D is pretty good, it seems you have no problem with scrub tactics either! But you don't play much else besides control. I personally love playing rumble! And skirmish is awesome for coordinated team play! You may like spending time in those arenas.

Edited by swirve: 2/6/2015 3:12:47 PMBorderlands = better PvE Division = will probably be better PvE Final Fantasy 14 = better MMO aspects Hence Destiny is dead in the water for me, without a redeeming PvP.... I stopped NF's like almost 2 months ago, the only thing I was doing was raids and they are so glitch and cheesed it defeats the value of it being a challenge...or interesting.... the game needed to launch with a half dozen raids at least (look at FF14 or any MMO).... I'm sorry but until they have private matches then anything considered organised is mute as you cannot choose opposition, so often you'll be playing against trash....where is the fun in that... Lol KDR.....I think you confuse scrub tactics with being able to play FPS games....scrub tactics are camping away from objectives, corner camping etc....check my weapon usage, I'm mostly mobile....the std of skill in this game is bad....a 1 KDR player is below average in other games... Most players rely on FR's to even break 1.5 KDR which is just embarrassing....I'd love to see a mode with no supers, no heavies, no specials...no radar....NO AIM ASSIST then you'd see skill.... The other modes are boring....I prefer objective based FPS games, hence Salvage is my favourite mode, but the fkers keep taking it away, that is a better example of skill as you have to be mobile....
