I liked X2 despite the whole debt system, removal of the lilium orb system, and the fact the game kept messing with my party formation. I love X1 (esp from judes story) to death and it has convinced me to pursue the rest of the tales series. X2 was very very dark and was filled with alot sadness from the other characters and just the amount of b.s bad luck ludger had to deal with from [spoiler](that loan u got forced into taking not really needed. Riddeux pretty much saying ur in debt for nothing) Oh ur girlfriend secretly loves julius instead of you. Elle is your daughter from a future demension and you kill your future self in front of her. Despite her being a brat she is just a kid and will grow out of it. killing your brother to form the soul bridge And finally sacrificing yourself to destroy the fractured dimensions and transforming to save elle from becoming a divergence catalyst [/spoiler] All that plus the additional side stories gave me a super bad case of the feels.
