DeeJ said himself he based this off of data. He basically said he doesn't listen to the community. He is supposed to be Bungie sole source of information, yet he acts like he hates his job.

Deej is supposed to listen to the community and relay the information back to the developers. So technically Deej isn't doing his job.

Guaranteed, deej is relaying the info. What bungie and activision do with that information is their own.
