Class Items Should DO Something
This is an old, forgotten topic that I haven't seen mentioned recently.
I would love to see some function (other than farming rep) to high level class items, even if it is one simple node that gives a single perk.
The Vault of Glass class items could cause bonus damage to Praetorians, or Atheon, or Oracles, or increase relic holder's agility, there are countless untapped possibilities for them.

I like getting to use whatever class item I want with no consequence. It's bad enough that all that sexy rare level gear is obsolete now. If they added perks to class items, it would severely limit the diversity of them, and everyone would wear the same ones. Maybe not a big deal for Warlocks or Titans, but a Hunter's cloak is what we stare at for about 1/3 of our play time. (In tower, on sparrow) If they do decide to do this, I suggest adding a lot more shaders to the vendor, so that guardians can get more diverse in that aspect in return.
