I definitely have done some surreal stuff before. I did this really interesting hand drawing when I was in high school where each finger (except for the middle) morphed into something at the end. The pointer into M&Ms, the thumb into a faucet filling up the bottom of the page with water, the ring finger into a BIC pen, and the pinky into a sort of slime that melded into and made up the background.
