I have been wondering why there has not been an in-game economy or player trading system implemented into Destiny. It would greatly improve the experience of all players in the game. We would no longer have to worry about getting duplicate items, because then we could trade our duplicates for new items we have not been lucky enough to receive. Exotic guns will still be just as "exotic" if there were to be a player trading system. It would be just as hard to get exotics because they would be worth quite a bit in a trade. The only difference is, with a player trading system players could trade away their duplicates and get items that they were simply not lucky enough to get from a drop. The major problem that some argue is high level players will give their old stuff to their friends who have just started the game. This problem is explained in the video I have linked. I personally do not find anything to be wrong with this. If more people are playing the end-game content, the better. I hope you all agree with this idea. Maybe Bungie can find a way to implement this into one of the upcoming DLCs. If they were to do so, I am sure it would get more people on the game and more buying the DLC. Thanks!

It's not a bad idea, but here's a list of pros and cons. I also didn't bother with the video. Pros: - trade that weapon to someone who actually needs it. Cons: - scamming being scammers - scammed because of own stupidity - bugs causing item loss during trade - item duplication abuse - trade request spam notifications (you can't expect them to implement an auto refuse button when you can't even turn off auto aim.) - people requesting items back because they regret the trade - human error
People are stupid. Do not implement trading.
