I have no idea why Bungie replaces gear instead of expanding the vendor inventories. Questionable behavior.

Exactly! Especially in a game that is most often and fairly criticized for lacking content, what do they do, go replace everything! Make the vault irrelevant!! What are they smoking??!! I want some!
