I have a 32 warlock and a 31 hunter. my warlock finds groups fairly easily but its like pulling teeth trying to get a group for my hunter. Even now I have the hard crota cp and everyone wants 32 only. Thats ridiculous. I get the perks of being 32. extra resistance and damage. But I'd much rather an experienced 31 (which I am) than a 32 who is garbage. 31's are capable of doing the raid. I've done it before and I've been in groups with 31's. Frankly, I'm not the sword bearer so being a 31 doesn't make that much of a difference. I go invisible so nothing ever kills me (save for oversoul) and have maxed out ice breaker to snipe boomers. RNGesus has not blessed me with gjallahorn even though I've been playing since day 1. I missed week 2 when xur sold it. I've also been in a group of ALL 32s that failed because they sucked. made me wonder how they got 32 to begin with. I guess my point is that just because someone is a 31 doesn't mean they can't do the raid and just because someone is 32 doesn't mean they are better. I wish people would be more open minded.
Edit 1: I'm on 360

Edited by CTDMUDRUNNER: 2/5/2015 7:39:33 PMI know this is a huge waste of time to post but here it is. Yes 31s are capable. He'll we had a very good clan member come lvl 30 before. Just because they have always been around to help even when not receiving rewards. Anything less then 32 is taking 20% more damage and dealing 20% less. Now let's think of all the fish factors while in the hard raid during Crota. We have these over powered boomers. Ogres that can -blam!- a 32 if not paying attention. Pissed off thrall running about with there blue glowing buddies. All this sounds fun and exciting. But let's now bring in some random person we have never played with and watch them junk around a nimbly bimbly like some cat. Alright meow. So this random dude (or chick) that is a risk factor to our success in defeating Crota. Skilled or not all it takes is a random lucky boomer shot, cursed thrall kabluey, I missed jump and now we are tasked with oversoul while trying to prepare with the next phase of the battle.
