I have a 32 warlock and a 31 hunter. my warlock finds groups fairly easily but its like pulling teeth trying to get a group for my hunter. Even now I have the hard crota cp and everyone wants 32 only. Thats ridiculous. I get the perks of being 32. extra resistance and damage. But I'd much rather an experienced 31 (which I am) than a 32 who is garbage. 31's are capable of doing the raid. I've done it before and I've been in groups with 31's. Frankly, I'm not the sword bearer so being a 31 doesn't make that much of a difference. I go invisible so nothing ever kills me (save for oversoul) and have maxed out ice breaker to snipe boomers. RNGesus has not blessed me with gjallahorn even though I've been playing since day 1. I missed week 2 when xur sold it. I've also been in a group of ALL 32s that failed because they sucked. made me wonder how they got 32 to begin with. I guess my point is that just because someone is a 31 doesn't mean they can't do the raid and just because someone is 32 doesn't mean they are better. I wish people would be more open minded.
Edit 1: I'm on 360

Edited by Totenswander: 2/5/2015 6:27:50 PMWhat's funny is that I was just with a group last night that beat Crota on hard. We had TWO 31s and still kicked his ass. The best part was that, on our first run, all of us were killed just before or after downing Ir Ut except for one of the 31s and he cleared out the place with an Icebreaker, Song of Ir Ut & an Abyss Defiant (all maxed out) solo. Yes, I said SOLO (it was awesome fun to watch). After an hour of dealing with glitches and figuring out a working strategy, the final run had that 31 killed (we just said 'F*ck it. Keep going'), then, after ogres, one of the 32s killed (we just said 'F*ck it. Keep going') & then the final four of us taking down Crota (remember, one of them was a 31, as well). It was EPIC and so much fun. So anyone saying 31s can't do the raid, take it from someone who's seen the truth first hand--you don't know what the f*ck you're talking about. A team of great players, regardless of light level, can do anything.
