Imagine a guy walking around the street. He´s got the word "COMEDY" written in the sleeve of his shirt. He goes around kicking bins down and throwing tomatoes at people. When someone calls him out, telling him to stop, he acts all offended and answers along the lines of "OMG YOU RETARD! Don´t you see it says COMEDY here? PPL R SO DUMMMB!". Doesn´t work, does it? Well, that is a good example of what happens every Xur-day with people that write wannabe "satire" posts. See, you cannot breed comedy into existence by just writing "comedy" "parody" or "satire" on it. This sounds basic but for something to be funny, it actually HAS to be funny. The same way that you can´t stand on a field and shout "I AM SO FAST" when everyone else has already left you behind. Yet what I usually see is a pitiful attempt to make an "I EARNED MY _______ " with absolutely nothing funny in it, and then the OP gets offended or calls people idiots for not getting the joke. Hint: nobody can´t get the joke IF THERE ISN´T ONE to begin with. You can´t polish a turd, and we won´t do it for you. You want to write a satire, a parody, mock the earners (or the Xurners!)... go ahead. But for the love of Crota, try to make it funny. Make an actual joke, an intelligent yet funny criticism. Put some brain cells into it, for f**k´s sake. The same goes for attemps at trolling. At least try to be smart about it.
