I'll set myself on fire and then simply stand next to the box until the tape melts and I can open the box unhindered.

You put on the ring, and you point at a distant spot on the horizon. Suddenyl the earth rumbles and quakes, and a new volcano erupts in the exact spot you pointed. Use this power wisely.
