Because this was never intended to be apart of the vanilla game. It was DLC from the start. Game developers just add the DLC onto the disks pre-launch to make the actual release shorter as they then work on it quicker.

A lot of games do this, it's nothing new.

Yea they do it silently. But to do it in such as blatant manner as Destiny did, is flat out wrong. I can understand if these DLC packs were planned ahead of time. But it was content that was meant for the original game.

Who are you to choose if that was for the original game or not? Nowhere did bungie state this...

Bungie sold out to Activision. They thought they left Microsoft (one evil corporation) to join an even worse one Activison (evil to the core). I am not one to choose what will and will not be in the game, but assuming that Destiny was made by the company that made Halo. I thought I would be given a complete game, with a clear beginning, middle, and end. But instead what I got was a very polished beta.
