Why are players quitting Destiny?
What do you guys think of this!? I've been noticing a HUGE decline in my friends who play Destiny still! Most of my REAL LIFE friends all stopped playing except me and others whom I met online have quit as well! Two of my old clans have vanished! My friends list slashed in half!
EDIT: out of my old clan and 182 friends on PSN, all of which used to play destiny, there are 72 online and 2 of them are playing Destiny! So if this trend continues its going to be slim pickens! I feel like its getting worse by the day! **[b]PLEASE BUMP THIS UP[/b] so Bungie will see this!***

There's nothing to do, nothing to explore, rinsing and repeating bounties got tiresome. I'll come back for house of wolves complete it in about 2 hours and leave the game for months again.

2 RepliesEdited by shaZAY: 3/30/2015 12:03:05 AMIt's because of the new loot system. You do normal raid twice then get all gear for 32. You beat hard mode twice get all primary raid weapon. People don't find any interest doing raid anymore. I miss VoG loot system. You actually have to grind and work hard to get gear and weapon. I mean I wasn't lvl 30 until I started playing HM VoG. I didn't get Atheon epilogue until TDB released. Because I was missing AE I was playing every reset Of VoG. Then I stopped playing ng VoG. I have every single exotics including weapons and gear. I was still playing Destiny until Bloodborne released. I will go back when HoW released. I still love Destiny and I wish they bring back the VoG loot systems.

I'm not quitting but ramping down significantly. Almost nothing left to do until HOW hits. I've absolutely no intention of trying to tick off all of the crucible grimoire points.

Have like 1000+ hours n i really enjoyed my game time. Well worth the 65 i paid. However nothing to really aim to get or lvl up anymore. So i wait for HoW hoping that the raid is more complex as VoG then CE

Bored. Nothing to do. Have all the exotics and 3 32s. I'll be back once a week for the nightfall/heroic. I'll be back just before how drops.

Same thing over and over just to get weapons. There is no new content. It is stupid that there are only two raids. There should be like 5. This game cost me 60 bucks yet if the game had more I would want to play more. There should be like at least 50 exotic weapons and like a minimum of 20 strikes. As well as a better variety of armor and shaders.

Cause after the dust settles, you realize this "mmo" and "rng" is both flawed and broken. No one wants to get buggered in the a-hole by bungie anymore. GTA despite all the bugs and nuances, they care about their players

Probably because Hardline came out. Destiny has also been out for a while now.

1 ReplySick of going through Crota's End just to get the damn "Poor Mans Gjallahorn". Me and my friend always 2 man it and he always gets the rocket (he wants Black Hammer) I want Hinger but I always get Black Hammer. I've gotten at least 11 not including my maxed out one. Shit like that is what makes me put the game down and play another.

Really sick of that Eris crap with the urn I have to do before it even let's me do weekly etc without it. It's just boring, lots of AFKs in strikes, RNG just won't give me any decent heavy weapon (except song) so when I raid most groups moan about not having a decent rocket... Mass Effect 4 will kill Destiny, far better story and even the multiplayer on ME3 was fun

I play less and less. It's the grind grouped with lack of content... I have every exotic... So besides grimoire i have no more reasons to play

I think the list of reasons why people are still playing Destiny would be much shorter than the list of reasons people are quitting.

People get tired of the grind. Coming in 1st in the crucible and the guy at the bottom getting G-Horn. Or the guy who joins in and doesn't get to fire a shot at Crota and gets Hawkmoon.

3 RepliesI'm still stunned people call a game they pumped 500-1000 hrs into as a let down lol. Pretty rare to find any game, even the all time greats you would spend that much in game time on. As with all things, people get bored over time. Like a Victoria secret model, somewhere someone is tired of that pu$$y lol. That's destiny. Still a good game overall. You spend that much time in a game, you'll find flaws

No ranked match-making for unbalanced maps, with ridiculous TTK on large portions of community used weapons that no longer allow you to have a play style if you want to actually hold your own in PvP. PvE is bland, out-dated, and hasn't seen anything promoting their missions since DLC, and prior, Queens Wrath. Too many people cheesing their way to victory rather than legitimate play through, and no one agrees on the best cheese method to fail at.
