What do you guys think of this!? I've been noticing a HUGE decline in my friends who play Destiny still! Most of my REAL LIFE friends all stopped playing except me and others whom I met online have quit as well! Two of my old clans have vanished! My friends list slashed in half!
EDIT: out of my old clan and 182 friends on PSN, all of which used to play destiny, there are 72 online and 2 of them are playing Destiny! So if this trend continues its going to be slim pickens! I feel like its getting worse by the day! **PLEASE BUMP THIS UP so Bungie will see this!***
Why do you think players are quitting? Do you know of anyone else who has quit? Chime in let us know why you will quit playing or not? Cheers!

Crucible lag is pretty bad, matchmaking doesn't respect your time and will use you to fill out a losing game if you solo queue, cheaters are still able to cheat in trials. Don't mind if these things are tough to fix but to not even address them means they probably are not even thinking about them. Still play all the time though =]
-
The taken king ps4 is a complete insult to anyone who bought the white ps4 for Destiny's release
-
Simple for me. I ran out of inventory space and don't want to destroy my items. I would rather just not play until more space is made available.
-
Burnout or the hostile hand cannons and shotgun takeover.
-
Because they realized that there were better games out
-
Because they're way better games to play then this one lmao.
-
Because its stupid to think that someone will always and forever play one game. People (including myself) will come back with HoW. I enjoyed my time with destiny, and I was ready to try other games. I spent 750 hours since day one. It got a good fine chunk of my attention and it's a franchise that I am now a fan of. Why does it worry people that its normal to eventually move on?
-
There was an outbreak of sandy vaginas.
-
Because people are playing other games, waiting for the next, hopefully better, DLC.
-
Because Destiny has become very boring, has a bunch of connection issues, lackluster DLC's and has barely any story. Right now a lot of players are playing Destiny simply to grind for new weapons and event gear such as in the IB. I'm certain that if Bungie is again overhyping this new DLC and it ends up being just as lackluster as the previous DLC's a lot of people will leave Destiny and I'm one of those.
-
Burnout.
-
Only my opinion but here it is. 1) PoE/ToO giving out 34 lvl gear too quickly 2) Etheric Light being able to be used to level gear 3) PoE 32 and 34 having very little replay value minus the EL and cores if you needed it 4) PoE 35 abysmal reward RNG 5) PoE 34 also giving out Elder Ciphers 6) PoE/ToO having no matchmaking 7) ToO level of difficulty for "end game" rewards, leads many to quit playing game mode 8) For most, EL being too easily obtainable
-
Idk lol
-
Because they are finding game that are good

Edited by az350z: 3/29/2015 7:55:45 AMEveryone on my friends list stopped playing over the last month, and it hit me like a brick last week. Between friends leaving, lack of content, seeing people get into more fully created DLC areas that are already in the game, and repeatedly discouraging weekly updates that over-concentrate on small fixes (while making them seem earth-shattering and spreading out a 4 bullet point list over an entire month)... I've almost completely lost interest. And then the recent comments about how old hardware is holding progress back, and looking back to the things that were hyped before release that appear to be nonexistent now... it's frustrating. I also worry about them being able to add big features and content when they keep saying how difficult and time consuming it is to do things like add vault space and fix heavy ammo glitches. They made a point to explain the cumbersome process in both those weekly updates. And we're talking several months for both those changes... I thought this was going to be "the next step in Halo" that I'd play for years... I don't see that anymore. I'll probably do Nightfalls on Tuesdays until I see what happens with HoW. But I never imagined my expectations would be so low. This game has a fantastic foundation and mechanics, now we're just in wait-and-see mode, wondering if it will build on them.

RNG sux playing for 7months since November, already have 23/24 of pre-HoW Exotic Weapon, still NOT GETTING one gjallarhorn 4 hawkmoon, 7 vex, all other Exotic weapon all have 2 and above.. RNG sux getting in HoW, killing Skolas need gjallarhorn? huh? most of the LFG people asking whether you have gjallarhorn or not Bungie cannot do anything? seeing my friend playing for 3 months get gjallarhorn, and what i get is repeatedly getting same exotic... completed 50+ hm raid among 3 characters, do nf every week since December... RNG sux decided to quit, bungie is joker
-
Because bungie -blam!-ad up. Even their -blam!- ups are -blam!-ed up.
-
It's boring, overly repetitive, has no story, no polish, the community is toxic, no way to actually work towards a particular gun other than saving coins and crossing your fingers. Just overall a sad game. I feel bad for the people on my friends list that play every day. Hell, Bungie didn't even give a complete character creator, no beards? Give me a break...
-
Boredom, repetitiveness and the rng sucks, over 600 hours played still no gally.
-
Borderlands came to PS4/XOne And BL was my reason to buy Destiny... but Destiny is not like BL not 1%
-
Because RNG sucks.
-
It's summer I've finally realized this game blows.. Every purple engram I get turns to shit, rng keeps screwing me, and I'm sick of helping people
-
I'm level 32 and have every exotic. What else should I do?
-
Bored. Missons to continulesy

Edited by BoxCutter150: 4/9/2015 2:51:37 AMYeah I'm the only one left playing from my clan and I understand why. Extreme lack of content and super laggy development.TDB dropped almost what 5 months ago. We need to see a new dlc at least every 3 months with more content than the first two or destiny will fizzle and die. Sad cause I love this game, also sad that that Bungie sold out to money hungry giant Activision.Oh well it is what it is I guess.

There's nothing to do, nothing to explore, rinsing and repeating bounties got tiresome. I'll come back for house of wolves complete it in about 2 hours and leave the game for months again.
