What do you guys think of this!? I've been noticing a HUGE decline in my friends who play Destiny still! Most of my REAL LIFE friends all stopped playing except me and others whom I met online have quit as well! Two of my old clans have vanished! My friends list slashed in half!
EDIT: out of my old clan and 182 friends on PSN, all of which used to play destiny, there are 72 online and 2 of them are playing Destiny! So if this trend continues its going to be slim pickens! I feel like its getting worse by the day! **PLEASE BUMP THIS UP so Bungie will see this!***
Why do you think players are quitting? Do you know of anyone else who has quit? Chime in let us know why you will quit playing or not? Cheers!

The iron banner burned me and most of the guys i played with out. We grinded to get to level 5, it was all we did that entire week and we got burned out and had a back log of games to catch up on.
-
Same here, went from about 30 friends on Tuesday to maybe 10 online.
-
Because there are so many a$$holes that ruin the game. People are tired of them- also people are tired of the grind, most people feel they got their $60 worth and it's time to move on- plus bungie sucks
-
Lack of content.
-
Because borderlands is in next gen consoles now
-
Edited by vJezza: 3/28/2015 11:08:23 PMBecause Borderlands the handsome collection came out.... And for $99 it has 100 more content than destiny right now And it's a better shoot and loot game
-
Yeah my friends list that actively played destiny regularly and I mean,ALOT,have gone from about 25 to like..3,can't even get a team together recently
-
PvE got old fast and PvP is garbage in this game
-
Borderlands I never played it til yesterday but it came highly recommended so for £40 I thought why not? The gunplay isn't as good as Destiny's but the world is full of stuff, loot drops everywhere and its a lot of fun to play. I'll be back for HoW though
-
Necrochasm sucks, crucible sucks, Deej is a human shop vac, bungie hates gamers, especially PvE gamers, if it works bungie breaks it, if it's broke bungie ignores it, only thing bungie seems excel in is sucking big floppy donkey appendages. Did hear bungie is moving the headquarters to Mexico, guess that means HoW raid exotic will be a fish taco, still better than the necrochasm though. A guardians spray fart is more powerful than the necrochasm.
-
If this how empty it gets while destiny players is waiting for H.O.W (dlc) to drop. Imagine how many more will be gone after the DLC has dropped? Might be twice as empty if the House of wolves doesn't deliver.

Edited by PROTOTYPE BLITZ: 3/29/2015 1:12:44 AMMany of my real life friends that play destiny quit... 5/6 of them to be exact.
-
Burnout is setting in and people are getting bored, myself included. I jump in and do bounties some days and raid and do weeklies and stuff, but I've got all but a few guns I want and the game doesn't suck me in like it used to. I'll be back for HoW though!
-
I'm guessing lack of content, unstable gameplay, redundant bounties, not fixing major issues, lack of content.... Oh I said that already.
-
I'm just bored
-
Lack of content for me

It all boils down to one simple problem: Destiny was not the game you expected to be. Now I'm not talking about broken Bunjie promises, false advertising or any other crazy reasoning behind most topics. I'm talking about that obvious truth that can't be denied. Yeah, I get it, you're getting bored? You've hit a wall in playing Destiny? But how? Why? I'm sure no one thinks of this when they first start playing cuz when you look at it, it doesn't matter if your a "Day1" player who was not given content from gameplay trailers or just the casual who saw a YouTube commercial and thought "Hey an FPS from Bunjie, sounds promising" cuz in the end Destiny turns out to be very VERY different from the shooter games your used to. How many Call of Duty or Halo fans have actually played World of Warcraft? Runescape? Maybe Diablo or Skyrim? Imma tell you right now, the answer is slim to none. Although Destiny is NOT sculpted exactly the same as these games, Destiny still shares many familiar categories. The idea of a RNG rewarding system. Having to be logged onto internet at all times. Multiple online players who aren't NPCs. Group battles. Clans. So on and so forth, etc etc... Point is, Destiny is different. However, the majority of those who bought the game were not prepared for how it was actually going to play out. So these people leaving Destiny aren't quitters, they're not scrubs or whiners... They're just gamers who were either lied into Destiny or they completly fell for the over hype. Either way, there is no denying that a mass chunk of the community will be gone befoe House of Wolves and a majority of that number may never return. With all that being said, I love this game. I grew up playing this style and with the FPS addition I thinks it's genious. Granted, many things need to be addressed... Destiny was, and still is, a brilliant idea. I'll see you Guardians in the long run.

It's plane and simple. The story would have been great but it really fell flat. Grimiores are a nice novelty but that should have been incorporated into the game itself. I realize that the game is community focus but seriously the community puts more effort into the game then bungie would. The game feels empty...and empty as in there's an empty beginning and the content isn't deep enough to carry on. I can go on and on but I won't. destiny will just fade away like Diablo did
-
Lack of content, unbalanced PVP, Bungie puts no effort into events (iron banner is the same crap over and over), glitches in the raids. Just to name a few
-
there isn't much left to do
-
because destiny is complete garbage
-
I friended 21 gamers on the PS3 through this game that have not played since December. I have friended 14 on the PS4 which have not played since mid January. Maybe waiting for the HoW to drop? Not sure but, I don't think so.
-
I've pretty much stopped just to play other games. Bloodborne, ff type-0, far cry 4 DLC, and some others. I'm hoping to play all of these and a few more before HoW comes out. The only reason I would play destiny is to get the ghorn honestly. Or if my buddies r playing. But this week has been all about bloodborne and helping each other in that. I'll be on once in awhile, just not everyday.
-
Fix the bugged grimoire points for pvp and the darkness 3 ghost it can't be that hard I like playing but that pisses me off also running out of things to do
-
I'd stay for multiplayer after I get everything lol try and raise them stats
