Why is it that I've beaten the VOG on hard at least 150+ times and have yet to get the vex. I just got done helping my friend beat the VoG on hard and he just got the vex but get this he's only beat the raid 2 times. Also I have a friend whose gotten the vex 3 times in a row and has only beaten it 16 times.
Now I understand that the loot system is supposedly "random" yea that's bullshit. There is no way this loot system is random when out of 100 times beating the raid I have yet to get vex yet I've got friends who have only beaten in 6 times and got vex 4 of those 6. The loot system is a system were it rewards either the worst player in the group or the player who does nothing at all.
Prime example last week I did the nightfall with all three of my characters. I have a Warlock, Hunter, and a Titan. I soloed it with two of my characters to better my chance of getting something good. I beat it with my Hunter solo I got energy. I beat it with my Titan solo I got energy and finally I did it on my Warlock (which is my main character) so I ran it with him last I did it with two of my friends. Now when we beat it my friend Dave got 12 energies he had 198 kills 45 assist, I got 12 strange coins, I had 145 kills 66 assist , then my other friend had 0 kills 0 assist and died 15 times. Now he is a level 32 and no he didn't stay back at all he just gets carried a lot. I will say it is unusual for him to die that much but come on 0 kills. Guess what he got Monte Carlo.
Need another example, well here you go. My friend made a Warlock leveled him up to 27 (this was 2 weeks before Crota came out). He asked me to help him beat the VoG on hard so he can get gear to hit 30. So since I needed to beat it as well because I needed a helmet or a chest plate so I can hit 30 I agreed to help carry him. At this point I was up to 75 times beating the VoG. We ran it it took us about 45 minutes to beat it. Not only did I not get a piece of gear or a weapon but he got a full set of gear so he could hit level 30 but he also got the vex. I came out of that raid getting nothing but shards and energy. That was on a Monday. Now the next day which was a Tuesday (rest day) I ended up getting the helmet. You'd think that was good but at that point that was a week away from Crotas End coming out which any who plays knows that you can buy gear that goes to 33 light meaning the helmet was pretty much useless. So how is that for random oh wait I forgot to add that my friend has gotten vex 8+ times.
Seems like the only time I get an exotic is when I tell my friends that I'm about to start playing other games more weird right.
Now not trying to sound greedy or anything but out of all my friends I deserve the vex. I have beaten the raid almost 200 times already and still do not have it. Out of all my friends I have been the raid the most. Yet I still have friends who have beaten in less then 20 times who have gotten vex
Destiny needs its loot system fixed. I have two more characters to run the VoG and if I do not get Vex I will be sending an emailing to Bungie everyday until I do and I will live stream on twitch every single last bullshit nightfall and raid as proof of destinys bad loot system. My twitch is msb112 the same as my gamer tag.
If anyone else has a problem with this crappy loot system drop a comment below with an example of it
