Title says it all - with all the hours and characters I have played on my account I have never once received a Vanguard Mentor Missive to be taken to Xander for an exotive bounty or reward. I wasn't even aware that these exotic bounties existed until I started playing with people in raids (I was pretty much just playing vanguard bounties and strikes until recently) and everyone I have played with is surprised that I have never received one of these bounties. I am very disappointed by this - if I knew this when I first hit lvl 20 I would have just created a whole new PS4 account. Needless to say, I only have 3 exoctic items - 1 purchased from Xur, and the other two as drops from raids/strikes. I honestly don't want to play this game anymore knowing I have been at a serious exoctic item & bounty disadvantage. Will the next patch fix this? Edit: Thanks for the input guys - I didn't know the drop count was really so rare. I usually turn in each bounty as soon as I complete it, but I will try to only turn in 5+ at a time to try and increase my odds. I will edit this post if I ever receive one - to maybe give some comfort to others who feel like this. Edit: 02/07 I read on a reddit topic (I didn't save a link) that earning a certain amount of kill points in the crucible was an additional requirement to unlock these missives. I have only done about two games with my titan, so I went in a did a few days worth and then got my mentor missive after turning in five bounties at once. I hope this info helps
