I'm sure many of you have already seen this video
Boyinaband recently posted this video criticizing our education system for most countries
He brings up many good points
Much of which has been jokingly complained about for decades. This video is beginning to gain some spot light
Hopefully for the better.

Studies show that 100% of people that have gone to school have died.

School is pretty important... There's enough uneducated people as is
-
School is pretty much an economy booster. Like marriage and many other things.

Edited by Relatively Quiet: 2/27/2015 4:38:08 PMStaying in school has it's upsides and downsides just as much as leaving. It depends a lot on the person. Or more specifically what a person does once they leave school. If they sit around on their butts and do nothing then staying in school would have at least helped them move along. It depends on how smart a person is and what they do. You can't deny that dropping out limits future options for a person even if they are smart. But the average person is generally silly. So dropping out for them is practically a death sentence in society, and completing school just pushes them along out into society with a little more to work with, but still not what they need. Dropping out isn't the answer! Play to people's smarts instead! School only lays basic, shaky foundations but what it should focus on is basic important education and then helping people find what they want to do with their lives instead of just booting them out and saying get a job. It's no easy fix though!

I'm in school right now
oh nooooooo
I have seen this as well. I don't feel like doing any deep critical thinking right now though so I'll just say this. Secondary school teaches less than what you need to know and even less than what you want to know. That's why college exists. Stay in drugs, drink your school, don't do milk.
-
Now if only people could learn the difference between your and you're before they leave school.
-
Edited by Wrenchineer: 2/27/2015 1:12:31 PMDon't do school and stay in drugs.

Such a bad video, obviously he educated himself on these things, so why would he need someone else to do it for him. The education system he was given made him an educated individual and he cant see that?
-
Why would I listen to a vampire. He can't even praise the sun.

ITT: "He had hair that isn't mainstream he's <Insert name> and <insert name>"

Boyinaband has recently uploaded a video addressing many of the arguments that people have presented. I've followed this guy a long time and he's honestly a very intelligent and cheerful individual. Something he points out (and continues to annoy even me) is how much others use his hair or style as a peg against his argument. You're not proving him wrong! You're only flinging slippery insults

I've been subbed to Dave for a while, I remember seeing this and resonating with it in such a way that I showed a few people. I agree with his points and have felt similarly towards a lot of school issues for a while. Yes, you learn a lot of useful things, but it's buried in stuff most of us will never need to know that was forced on us.

I rather not listen to an emo dirtbag

Edited by joibasta: 2/11/2015 5:04:31 PMUm you know you can drop school at 16 and you also have choices of what to do in high school. He's just not that bright.
-
I think they try to leave things your caretaker should be teaching you out of the public education scam.......
-
Couldn't watch it. I'm sure he brings up a lot of good points but I'm not watching that shit.
-
Don't do school, stay in drugs
-
There is truth to it but without those certifications you literally have problems doing anything.
-
I love boyinaband so much and i think he makes a great point. We spend so much time learning things that just aren't necessary. We need to make it so that when you leave highschool you should be able to fully function in our society without large amounts of help. Right now I'm hesitating highschool and i barely know how to do anything. And the the stuff that i do know is only because my parents actively teach me at home

I never saw this. Very cool. Very true. I often feel incredibly stupid or awkward that I have no idea how to do or about (fairly basic) real things in the world. Never voted, Im not even going to pretend that I understand the government works... Or the economy... And I have no intention on trying to raise a kid, I'll screw that up pretty badly given that I cant even take care of a dog. But, hey, I know the quadratic formula, some history, how atoms work, and how to code flash games. And a lot of fun facts. Its funny and sad at the same time.
-
That guy looks like Anakin Skywalker. Just, you know, with different hair.
-
That was cool. It's what you can expect when you let govt socialists have unilateral control of what's taught to the youth.
-
I'm still getting an education it's better than nothing.

Here’s the deal: School is not authentic because it ends. It’s not true, it’s not real. Our learning will never end. The school that we go to every single morning, we will continue to go to

I love him now Just heard of him 3 minutes ago
